Operations Manager/Deck Fabricator/Installer

Permateek UK Ltd has an immediate vacancy for an ambitious, responsible person who is a good all rounder to undertake deck fabrication/installation and manage/expand all aspects of our synthetic deck production facility in Poole.

The post would suit a reliable, motivated and hard working person who is fit, good with their hands, organised and able to liaise with our highly valued customers.

Experience in marine decking is desirable though not essential as full product training will be given, however a management background and knowledge of boats or boating whether it be professional or recreational would be a clear advantage.

This is a responsible post and it is intended that the right candidate can build on our already established business, and at the same time create a real management career opportunity for themselves within our expanding company.

Salary will be made up of basic pay plus profit share and should build to be a very good income for the right person.

Responsibilities will include:

• Following up boat show leads.
• Visiting clients and preparing quotations.
• Making patterns and templates.
• Fabricating decking panels.
• Installing decking panels.
• Ensuring invoices are correct and sent out.

Initially you will have one experienced member of staff working directly under your control, and will be assisted with invoicing etc. by our book keeper.
